I m sure most of you Windows Vista users dont like the browsing speed you experience. Try the hack below and see the difference for yourself.
This hack disables Vista’s “Auto-Tuning” feature, which some times is not compatible with certain routers and networking devices.
How turn it off:

hit Programs-->Accessories--> and right click at the command prompt icon and from the menu that appears select Run as administrator. Wait half a second for the command line to open and then type the following command:

netsh interface tcp show global

and press Enter.
If the Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level does not say “disabled” you should type this command:

netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled

Thats it!!!

Keep in mind that if you want to set the default settings repeat the same commands only replace disabled with normal.
Other commands are:

restricted and highlyrestricted

Windows Vista have by default the Administrator account hidden from public probably for security reasons. Whenever you enter the login screen you may see normal user accounts that have admin rights but its unlikely to see the Administrator account itself. This account is not subject to UAC while all other accounts are, so if you enter Windos Vista with administrator account you wont be bothered by annoying UAC prompts. I suggest you use this hack only if you feel that you can handle windows pretty well since admin account has full rights on your Vista managment and this may cause you some serious problems if you dont what you doing.

In order to enable Administartor account go to your command prompt by pushing Start button, then hit Programs-->Accessories--> and right click at the command prompt icon and from the menu that appears select Run as administrator. Wait half a second for the command line to open and then type the following command:

Net user administrator /active:yes

and press Enter.

Now if you log off or restart yur pc you ll see the Administrator Account ready to be used.

If you decide to turn off this option and hide once more the Administrator athen repeat all steps and paste inside the cmd command line the following command:

hacks/vista/admin-net-user

and then press Enter.
