If you ever get tired of the Windows boot screen logo, then you might want to change it.

The most easiest way to do so is to download a program called
BootSkin (943.16 kB)
You can choose to use the range of cool preinstalled
boot screens provided or even create your own by going to the Help Section.
Create your own boot screen
Keep in mind that your image must be max 640 x 480 pixels and it must also be saved as a 16 color bitmap (.bmp extension).
1. Create your backround image file.
2. Create your progress bar image file.
3. After creating your boot image you have to create a new folder under the setup folder(under Skins directory) naming it as you want to, lets name it hacks.info.
4. Under that folder put the boot image and the progress bar image you created, also put a copy of bootskin.ini (you can take it from an other skin and copy it or just use ours)
5. Edit bootskin.ini as shown below:
[BootSkin]
Type=0
Name = "hacks-info"
Author = "Hacks.info"
Description = "Hacks.info boot screen"
ProgressBar=hacks-progress.bmp
ProgressBarX = 508
ProgressBarY = 12
ProgressBarWidth = 118
Screen=hacks-backround.bmp
Now we are going to explain each setting so that you can change it to what you want.
