I m sure most of you Windows Vista users dont like the browsing speed you experience. Try the hack below and see the difference for yourself.
This hack disables Vista’s “Auto-Tuning” feature, which some times is not compatible with certain routers and networking devices.
How turn it off:
hit Programs-->Accessories--> and right click at the command prompt icon and from the menu that appears select Run as administrator. Wait half a second for the command line to open and then type the following command:
netsh interface tcp show global
and press Enter.
If the Receive Window Auto-Tuning Level does not say “disabled” you should type this command:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
Thats it!!!
Keep in mind that if you want to set the default settings repeat the same commands only replace disabled with normal.

restricted and highlyrestricted
